1. Privacy Policy

phonokeeper is a voice recording and memory preservation app.

Data we collect and store (on your device)

By default, phonokeeper stores your data locally on your iPhone/iPad:

• Voice recordings (requires microphone access)
• Text journal entries
• Photos you choose to import (from your photo library)
• Speech-to-text transcriptions of recordings (processed on-device using Apple Speech Recognition)
• Face ID / Touch ID authentication (biometric data is handled entirely by Apple’s LocalAuthentication framework — we never access or store your biometric data)

Optional iCloud backup (paid subscription)

If you subscribe ($9.99/month), phonokeeper offers an optional iCloud backup feature.

• When enabled, your recordings, journals, and imported photos are copied to your personal iCloud Drive.
• We do not operate our own servers for this backup.
• Any cloud data is stored in your own Apple iCloud account and is encrypted by Apple.

Purchases

phonokeeper uses Apple StoreKit for in-app purchases and subscription management.
